Print transfer onto canvas tote

A pre valentine's day post. I made designed this canvas tote for my lovely friend as part of valentine's day. Well, she better appreciate it since our faces are on it! :p

You can make one yourself too! I pasted a link from the Photojojo website which i came across. Basically the modpodge i got from ArtFriend works on both canvas as well as fabric. Just make sure the print is done using laser printer alright.

Things i have learnt from my experience.
  1. Be patient. I allowed the entire set up to dry for 36 hours. Well, it actually really depends on the weather. Singapore is just so humid.
  2. I should have been more gentle. As you can tell from the picture above, some parts have actually been rubbed off :(
  3. If white cloudy stuff keeps appearing, leave it to dry and scrub off the white paper another time. I think i did it over 3 days. Bit by bit.
Thats about it actually. I did this transferring of print onto wood as well. Which i'll show you guys another time. :)

Have fun!!!

Love,
Sam

With the use of smartphones and readily available digital cameras, we have become a nation of amateur photographers, using Instagram to capture our favourite moments. Out of this we now have some incredible photographs we are sure to treasure forever; the problem is there are just too many of them, making the task almost impossible when
